The Georgia Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation (GHAREF) hosted a one-day Five-Star Hospital Panel Discussion about becoming a 5-STAR Hospital. This panel discussion was followed by guest speakers sharing their stories of how re-thinking ways to manage readmissions made a significant difference in their communities. Tony Ellington, Community Paramedic Manager of the Dorminy Community Paramedicine Program, had the opportunity to share about our community paramedicine program and the effects on our rural community.
